Your Preferences
Cookie Policy
We use a small number of cookies to help our website work properly and to understand how visitors use it. This page explains what they are and gives you control over your preferences.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They help the site remember things — such as your preferences or whether you've already seen a particular message — so your experience is smoother on return visits.
They do not give websites access to your device or personal files. They simply hold a small piece of information relevant to your visit.
The Ratana Path website uses only a modest set of cookies, and we aim to be straightforward about each one.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always ActiveThese are necessary for the website to function. Without them, basic features such as the cookie preference panel would not work. They cannot be disabled.
Examples: cookie consent record, session stability
Duration: Session or up to 12 months
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand which pages visitors find most useful, so we can improve our content over time. All data is collected in aggregate and no individual is identified.
Examples: pages visited, time on page, general navigation paths
Duration: Up to 2 years
Marketing Cookies
These allow us to understand whether information about our courses has reached people who may benefit from them. They are not used for intrusive advertising.
Examples: referral source tracking, campaign measurement
Duration: Up to 90 days
Preference Cookies
These remember settings that make your visit more comfortable, such as your language selection or any layout preferences you have indicated.
Examples: language choice, display settings
Duration: Up to 1 year
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some features of our website may involve services provided by third parties, which may set their own cookies. These could include:
- Google Analytics — used to understand how visitors navigate the site. Google's own privacy terms apply to any data they collect.
- Google Maps — an embedded map on our homepage may set functional cookies related to the map display.
We aim to limit third-party integrations to those that genuinely improve your experience. We do not use social media tracking pixels or advertising networks.
5. Cookie Duration
| Type | Duration | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookies | Until browser closes | Temporary, cleared automatically |
| Preference record | 12 months | Stores your consent choice |
